I know 2 threads have already been made about this but they were both posted in NSG and got like 3 replies and I thought you guys in M&A would really appreciate this if you haven't seen it already.

Its a movie about global warming and how it effects the glaciers but it really focuses on pictures and time lapses taken by James Balog and they use those to show the effects of global warming.
Its on netflix and is a little longer than an hour. I strongly recommend taking the time to watch it. Even if you don't care about global warming, still watch it just for all the amazing pictures and an awesome story about a photographer.

I can understand why he would nearly cry after taking all the time to set up those cameras.

Only part that I didn't really care for was the sob story about his knee. Dude, let your minions take care of the setup. You came up with the idea. No need to waste yourself doing the grunt work. Regardless, a must watch.

I didn't really see the knee thing as a sob story. Imagine how hard it would be to be perusing your dream and be held back by your body. Even though the other guys could do the work it would be a bummer not to do it with them

Sad about global warming? I didn't really watch it for that as much as the awesome story of how they got all of these time lapses

IMO they just spent too much time on the fact that he couldn't do it all. Could've cut out some of the clips of him trying to get up to the spots and stuff. He was acting like a teenager from NS; asking a forum website if they could go ski or not 5 months after an ACL surgery. Of course not, you fuck.

Basically, this movie just made me sad :(

Hahah yeah I agree they could have shortened it up a lot. Did it make you sad because of global warming or the fact that he tried to use his new knee too soon or a combination? Hahahah
