I've been looking around for awhile now and I can not seem to find a camera case that will suit me. I'm looking for a camera case that will hold a Canon T3i with a 18-55mm lens. I want the case to be small so I can put it in a backpack but I also want it to be hard so my camera is protected while skiing. If you guys know of anything that could fit my needs, that would be great.
something like a pelican 1450 would be pretty good, it would hold a body and a few lenses as well as be able to be thrown into a pack. They are also SUPER durable only downside is that they are decently bulky.
I have a rubber case that fits directly over my t2i. It isn't hard but it protects from snow and water and light drops. I think I got it on amazon for like $20
I have my t4i and a 18-55 lens in a pelican case (1300) it fits really tight, and the only way to get it in there is to take the lens off the camera, but its a great case if you need something small and durable.
I came here to say Pelican 1400 series case... I know other people already said it but I'll emphasize it. Bulletproof, waterproof to way more than you need, and not found in soft cases is that it's crush proof. Don't have to worry about putting in your camera case last in the car because that asshole of a friend drops his shit on top of yours with no regards to anyone else's belongings. I would know...
