It sucks really bad, especially so close to the Olympics and not having the summer to train to the fullest. Vibes for a quick recovery!

I don't know what of airbags some of you guys have been hitting. I've only hit one but it was very soft. I can see how an over-inflated one could cause some problems though

They can grab your skis when not maintained properly, I hit one at crystal it was like landing on a really sticky rail the entire length of my skis

Simon used to use skateboard grip tape on his AFD plates to ensure he did not release. But if he landed jut a little off center his momentum would try to pull him out of the boot and when you have those boots fitted well for pipe it's more likly you break something then the boot gives. Sucks but luckily a boot is like a big cast any way so hopefully not as bad as some of his other injuries.

he landed flat, standing up. if there was no twisting why would/should a ski come off? I'm sure he had his dins cranked, but for a landing like this it wouldn't matter if he was set at 12 or 16-18. And for his skis to stay on for the impacts he regularly stomps, 20ft out of a pipe, he needs cranked dins.
