Ortovox 3 + beacon. Looking for a reliable Beacon.

So Im thinking about buying a beacon. Been sifting through reviews and this guy popped up. Ortovox 3 +. Just was looking for some input on it. Been thinking about buying one for a while but now I have a better  summer job so I can afford it.
I know with this I need to practice when partners, and its not an excuse to be in avi terrain. The number one avi tool is your brain.
Just want to know if this beacon is a good choice or can I spend my money better? Just second thinking myself here I guess.

It's a great transceiver, super easy to use with a good mark feature. I've never had to use it for real but in practice it's always been good.
Lots of British ski schools in Europe use them in avy packs as they are reliable and easy to use.

anything with 3 antennas and a mark feature will be very accurate and easy to use, so basically most of the new top of the line beacons. i'm personally a fan of the mammut pulse, i think it's the easiest to use and the quickest to find flux lines based on tests we did in avy 2, but the orto is great as well

thanks guys for the input. I went with the Ortovox 3 + cause for $220 from backcountry.com was too good to pass on.
