In some ways im happy that newschool skiing has grown alot, but in some ways im a lil sad that we arnt so underground anymore. I mean, were still no where snowboarding is now, and hopefully our companies wont buy each other out like burton did.

50,000 members, and sometimes there is as little as 15 or 20 on at a time. i remember back in the day when you'd be excited to find more than 40 people on at once. Most people make usernames to see what its about, then leave. Right now there are 49,000 some odd members and only 176 peole on. less than one percent

Trust me, on this site it may seem we aren't but maybe 80 percent of snowboarders out there think skiing is still as it was 10 years ago. By 80 percent, I mean ALL snowboarders including all the posers you find that just ride around on trails and snake you left and right.

but you cant balme them. Most of them are 12 and their parents have complete control over their computers. When they get to go on, they probaly just play games. I know whats what i would do.

yea, to see who is active and who isn't a message should be sent to everyone that they have 2 weeks to, say, update their profile to confirm that they are still using NS, then everyone else gets deleted. then we can see how many people are actually using it... I bet the number would be way lower... which would be kinda dissapointing...

i wouldnt mind if it told us a closer number than one thats just blown out of proportion. if you deleted the inactive people, it may free up that name for someone that actually wants to use it or something.
