Best editing software?

I'm just getting into editing and filming. I have experience with Windows Movie maker and Videopad. I despise them both and fucking hate the playback and quality of the finished product. either free or paid software works fine, but I' not prepared to pup out the 300$ for Vegas pro. anyone have any reccomendations for PC?

You'd probably get better answers to this in media and arts, see you can get a mod (green name) to move this there for you.

Try media and arts for sure. Maybe try a more basic version of Vegas. You won't find a lot of great editing software for the prices you're looking st

Well you can get the new adobe premiere pro for as little as 20 a month. Try it out if you don't get on with it your only 20 out of pocket. Nice to see people here getting legit software and not just stealing cracked copies

Whatever the lower end version of Vegas is (Vegas Movie Studio maybe?) works great and it's like $70.
