Best choice for CU Boulder residence hall

Hey guys, so I got my housing assignment a few weeks ago and I got placed into Hallett hall's diversity program. Is this a cool dorm with parties, cool peeps, etc. I really liked how its so central and close to everything but buckingham in Kittredge looks way nicer and I heard the dorms are bigger and they offer single rooms so I wouldn't have to share. Is hallet cool or should I request a hall change to buckingham?

Hallet (especially the diversity program, wttf?) is IMO the worst of the dorms on the main part of campus. But it's right next to the dining hall which isn't too bad. It's better than kit though where you have to walk a fuck long way to get to anything (classes, parties, the hill, whatever)

My friend lived in the diversity program and hated it. Its all LGBT and the bathrooms are unisex and rainbow tiled.

Good thing is you can always borrow the girls hair clippers, since their hair will be shorter than yours.

Farrand/Sewall are the best. I lived in the former 4 years ago.

CU alumni here...


1.) definitely room with somebody, don't room alone

2.) don't room in hallett, nothing wrong with the diversity program but unless you fit into one of those categories, you'll be better off elsewhere

3.) my votes are for chey-ho, baker, libby, sewell...any of the ones on the parameter of farrand field are solid locations if you can get it there

-farrand is good too, but if you're a business major you can't room there. have to be liberal arts i think?



I was in willville which honestly was fun as hell, even though it's a little bit of a pain to take the bus to and from campus.

Going to CU next year, just wondering how Cheyenne was cause that is my first choice for a residence hall to stay in. Also, i do like to smoke a lot so where would some good spots be?
