The female mind is strange. She probably doesn't actually know your intentions for some strange reason and thinks you don't actually like her or some other illusion. Females are extremely prone to trickery and they tend to carry doubt about themselves, and other people no matter what the scenario. Make sure you persue it because she probably thinks YOU'RE leaving HER hanging.

I had the same thing happen to me. Asked a girl out and she told me she couldn't that weekend but she would give me a 'rain check'...that was a year ago and I still haven't gotten any sort of check!!!

You guys think I'm kidding. I've got an inside view on this shit. Girls like to think they're smarter than everyone else when it comes to this stuff, but if you step outside and look at the whole thing from an outside point of view, its actually pretty damn simple. Its like the Nazi's and the Enigma machine, it took a Polish guy to break that, and now a Polish guy like myself has to break this code.

it depends what kind of girl u asked out. if she's a deep thinking girl she might say 'ill think about it' which may mean she doesnt like you and doesnt want to hurt ur feelings, or she is contemplating the idea of dating you. im not like that though. if someone i dont like asks me out, i say 'no' right to their face. i feel bad... but hurting their feelings for a split second is better than leading a guy on when really you want nothing to do with him.

so it could go either way (from a girl point of view)

Personally, I don't consider women dumb... just fucking crazy. You have to admit, women twist things around too much. Just the fact that yes means no is retarded. okay i will admit, sometimes girls are crazy. sometimes i'm crazy. but usually i don't beat around the bush about what i want. i try to be crazy. on the other hand, i know lots of guys who are just as confusing - they don't say what they want, they drop all kinds of mixed signals so what you don't know what the hell is going on. and it's just as frustrating for us as i'm sure it is for you.

although mostly every one that responded to this conversation has intregued my interest, although i knew most of that stuff. and steve no she doesnt know that... and if your thikning its a girl over the internet your dead whrong its some one that goes to our school, she's in one of my classes... plus it wouldent really matter, i dont think if i did have a shitty job or not. I have tryed to be as nice to her as i can and its almost been a full 24 hours scince i asked her last and still no answer... i think she's thinking on it and no i'm not trying to get my hopes up, i'm just thinking that she is thinking cause i'm pretty sure she's a strait foreward person. i think she might be waiting till we go to class on mondaylast block

don't be too insulted. it could simply be that you two aren't right for eachother and that isn't something that's your fault or her fault, it just happens to be that way. i've been in your shoes when i liked a guy and i've been in the girl's position that you are talking about and it's never fun, but it happens.
