Who's got some good rum drink recipes?

We're going camping with a couple handles of Captains. We'll be hiking pretty intensely every day so I'm not really looking to go the super sweet drink route (Mai Tais, Rum n Cokes) because I don't feel like being hungover while hiking.

Anyone have any somewhat healthy rum cocktail recipes? We'll definitely be drinking most of it straight/shots, but we are looking to mix it up here and there. Throw em my way if you've got em.

honestly i didnt notice he said captain. rum and oj is normally really good. i guess it would be decent with dark rum, just not as good as white/clear/light/whatever-the-fuck-you-call-it rum

Shots of rum eh, like a boss... Why would you get multiple handles of the same stuff to begin with? Let alone the fact that rum is pussy piss.

We actually only have one handle of rum. The other bottles we have are of good bourbon, which is my preference. I do enjoy any and all alcoholic beverages though, so I'm always happy to broaden my liquor horizons.Just looking for something on the healthier side to mix up with the spiced rum, thats all.

if youre backpacking and you have to carry all this liquid to your site every day, then just drink it straight. you will regret carrying in 4 litres of juice i guarantee it

if you have a car access site and you are just doing day hikes, then yeah do mojitos or something

Dear OP, here is the only rum cocktail "recipe" you'll need to know, it's so simple a 13yo could do it.

Just take the rum, go to your parents drinks cabinet, and put it back.
