B-Dog (Phil Casabon) has never really gotten any respect from people outside of newschoolers (i.e. Big Companies, Competition organizers, etc.) and even then there are a limited few, inside of ns, who actually give him the respect necessary. Although B-dog in years past has been nowhere near others in his calibre of air skills, his air game has picked up and his rail skill is unmatchable. When people are asked to choose between Henrik or Phil, 100% of the people that named one or the other said Phil, for one reason or another. The two of them are incomparable, Henrik has sold out to the competition scene with his 100,000,000,000 nosebutter doubles and lack of style in his most recent comp runs. Phil has always kept it real and performs tricks that are almost physically impossible to match as shown in the below edit's. I geuss what I'm trying to say hear is that we need to give B-dog and guys like him that are pushing the film industry forward, (P white, Mike hornbeck etc.) more respect and recognition because come the olympics these guys will be making very little money in comparison to those competing if they are lucky enough to make any and they will have to be the ones who love the sport to its very core. Here are some of the edits that display b-dogs unmatched skill level.
So thats why B-dog is on armada pro team and Hernik is still am? Also, it's not that he can't or is 'not good' at air tricks. He just doesnt give a fuck. He could just as easily throw a dub as Tammy Whamnuts or Sammy or anyone that can dub for that matter. But its all about that style!

Ok let's think about Henrik's latest comp run.....
You sir have not been paying attention to the explosion of hype that happened after his triple nose butter and as Tanner Hall would put it he went into the fuckin record books. To say that Henrik is losing in the comp scene would have to be in the top 5 most ridiculous things I have seen on this site.
I did not say he was losing he`s definetely up there, who else is up there again. Oh ya all your homiez right? Gus Kenworthy, Nick Goepper, Russ Henshaw, all the guys with the crazy insane style righ Ram.Z? oh wait they dont have style thats right. Henrik has style he just does not impliment it as much anymore when it comes to comps.
I am fairly sure you are the dumbest person I know if you think Gus Kenworthy has style. I have friends that have never even been to a mountain that would tell you that it looks Like Gus Kenworthy has been programmed in order to ski.
But its not about being anti triple cork or anti double cork, its about doing what the fuck you want...... thats what makes skiing different from other sports. If Henrik wants to win contests then who the fuck cares. B-Dog tries to stay true to the style of the sport, and guess what.... thats ok too. Its about individuality, not being a stupid hipster fuck like you.
B-dog is sponsored by Armada, Orage, and Full Tilt. (Those are just the ones I know off the top of my head). Those are all pretty major companies. (Armada doesn't give sponsorships to just anyone). He also filmed with Level 1 before he started doing the Inspired stuff.
He has plenty of recognition.
Try coming to the midwest, were rails are made of rust and tetinus, run ins are about as wide as my wrist, and the landings look like the first 15 minutes of Saving Private Ryan
i know your trolling. but still. sit the fuck down.

Obviously Henrik and Phil have their own sick style. But since Henrik joined armada all the kids at small resorts have been copying the no poles, over the top baggy outerwear style and trying to copy B&E. Don't get me wrong, Henrik and Phil can both pull off the baggy outerwear. But I'm tired of seeing edits of all these kids trying to be like henrik and phil. I will agree with one thing though. Henrik has been getting insane, but all I'm starting to see is nose butters, and I happened to thoroughly enjoy henries one style when he was on ninthward. Henrik and phil are probably 2 of the coolest guys ever with 2 of the coolest styles, but to say phil casabon doesn't get enough respect is just bazerk! Kids went crazy on the inspired demo tour. So with all due respect I'm gonna go ahead and say that this thread is bullshit.
I met both B-Dog and dollo when they came to my mtn, 2 of the chillest guys I've skied with, both have their own style and do their own things and they are best buds, to say he doest get the respect or aclamedes he deserves is just stupid because you an I and rest of NS does know that he indeed does get recognition. Ya It might not be the first name that comes to people's mind when they talk about freestyle skiing but he is dope and as long as NS and the rest of the free ski and snowboard community remember him that's all that matters

I cant agree more like actually but i'll add kieran mcviegh to that to cuz is style is crazy dope as well. And i love stept as well every year they seem to somehow top the unbeatable previous movie I love the shit out of those guys
I couldn't agree more. Style is however one percieves it to be but it isn't doing what others do like Gus kenworthy or Nick goepper its doing something different and in your own way this is my definition of style. Not just presses but guys like Shay and sandy from tsp who do the craziest and most unique shit or casabon with sw butters over rails and crazy shit that is near impossible to recreate not just him getting low to the rail or "gorilla steezing" things but doing stuff that is unique to him that's what style is.
