No way! My Black Lab, Newfoundland mix is named Kodiak. We call her Koda for short though, so it is nice that way.
My best buds Lab, Pit Bull, Doberman and German Shepherd Mix (Major badass dog) is named Trigger. Thats a pretty sick name.
Had a 130 lb German Shepard named Hunter that I grew up wiht.. Kind of common, but it was quite fitting. That dog was the nicest kindest dog if you were in our house, anyone we let in he was more than nice to, his bark was quite intimidating though. One night he displayed why he deserved his name and why he still was a savage beast. Took down a full grown St. Bernard that had gotten loose from its yard one night when my dad was walking Hunter. These two dogs lived 3 houses away from each other, when my dad went for walks they did not like each other when he passed that house. The St. Bernard was behind them, it barked once with a snarl and my dad and Hunter turned around. My dad initially thought it was a small bear from it's size, but realized the bark was the bark of the neighbors St. Bernard. The hair on Hunter's back rose and he crouched down a little, but this was never out of fear. Dad knew exactly why he was doing it and then the St. Bernard started towards my dad and Hunter my dad wasn't getting in the middle of it so he unhooked Hunter's Leash so he could avoid the mayhem. As soon as Hunter heard the metal latch on the leash click, he knew he was free. Hunter hit the St. Bernard at full speed, tackled him to the ground, pinned the dog by it's neck and then paused. Held him there for a couple seconds then let go and walked back to my dad. That's a well trained dog who wasn't out to kill another dog, but knew to protect his father and once he had done that, he didn't need to be sadistic.
You wouldn't know troll if one dragged you under a bridge and raped and killed you before casting your body into the sewage filled river heading toward the sea.
