apparantly in 'fire red' version charmeleon learns metal claw at level 14, so i pwnd him with that. now i can get back to creating my super-pidgeot

YouTube search for a tutorial, that's what I did.

And @Sander I can't tell yet. The game story is the same, then you can battle/trade/chat. There's some team option which I haven't checked out yet. But one I get my brothers and some friends on it it will be fun.
Plus it includes a lot of FAQ info to give you info you wouldn't normally have. I'm going to try EV training for the first time because it gives you that info in game
