Double acl tear

Tore my left and right acl's doing a switch backflip cork double. No afterbang. Should I get surgery? When can I ski??

Holy shit wheelchair bound. Vibes dude. Surgery for sure and you'll be able to cruise once you can walk around but don't. Takes many months to heal back up

I think doctors will give you better advice on whether or not you should get surgery then people on newschoolers.So go talk to the doctors who will give you proper advice rather then randoms on the internet.

My buddy had this issue, heres his timline of recovery.

October 2012 - Had his hamstring put into his left ACL - Mad rehab and shit for that knee but they cant do both at once because then you cant walk and rehab properly

February 2013 - Had a dead guys ACL replace his ACL - Mad rehab and shit

August 2013 - Should be able to start waterskiing and potentially wake boarding

2013 - 2014 - Good to go for the ski season.

Also, a good stretch for that is to jump as high as you can and land on your hyperextended leg. You may think your knee wont flex that way but you just have to overcome the mental barrier and do it.

Should you get surgery??? You should consult your doctor before asking newschoolers about an injury like this. But if you ask me, yes I think you should definitely get surgery.
