Snowmaking

Waiting for snow sucks, so why do it. Anybody here got plans fo a cheap snowgun? I think a lot of us are feeling the crunch. I just went to Sunday River yesterday, and I needmore of it!!!

You can make a snow gun fairly easy. The only major problem is with frozen tubes. First off temperatures need to be below freezing. Run a hose from a tap in your house or one that isnt frozen up. You need to get a part for the hose that forms a mist, you can get it from good garden/hardware suppliers. When the water comes out in the mist it freezes in the air and lands as snow. Doesnt make too much snow but easily enough for a rail setup.

^That will NEVER work, you need some form of air compressor to make the water droplets extremely fine. Misting from a hose or even pressure washer will give you nothing but ice.

get an air compressor and a tee gun and a hose, to make it better, replave the hose with a preessure washer. there is a cult for this, you should join
