Truckdriver 3's

So I got truckdrivers, and I have 3's, but when I put try a truck 3 I always get super corked out and land on my side. Any suggestions?

dont rush the grab off the take off, just be super patient. set your spin like you usually do, once that rotation is established go for the grab. popping hard helps for me because it forces you to set the spin properly instead of reaching down right away and getting on a whacky axis.

pop, set, grab, 4-point!

The only way I can grab truckdriver is in a 360. That being said, I haven't done too many in my career so I can't actually give any actual advice and therefore I have no real contribution to this thread.

Where exactly are your hands positioned in a truck driver? If its mid way, or above i cant reach/have it come to me. Feels like im pulling a mustle if i force it on the ground practising the grab

Probably a flexibility issue. You have to throw your body at your skis to get it, which throws you off axis. You should be able to bring your skis up to your hands easily, without straining.

just start by grabbing close to your boots like a dub safety and keep practising each time bringing your hands forwards until you get them where you want. my hamstrings are fucking shit and i have to stretch them every morning to keep flexibility, definitely worth doing as it also helps prevent back injuries
