so right now im riding some atomic beta park skis that are 163. they are a little long for me about 2 inches taller then i am. im going to be keeping these skis for next year as back ups. i love thses skis when im up at saddleback in maine. but my home mt titcomb mt witch is only 700 feet vert they are a little big for the park we have set up. Im looking at a pair of line afterbangs [155cm] with marker free 10's. these will be a little small but i like the way line's ride. Im a good skier park i think. i can do three's of like any jump and got my 540 on big jumps. i can 450 of a canon rail and almost have the backflip down i can also 270 on to rails. my skis are just a little too big for most of the skiing i do. what do you think? i am around 5 foot 7 inch but i like a smaller ski. i skied 130 cm until this last season.
The afterbangs would be a great choice for the type of park skiing that you are looking to get into, but keep in mind that the ski is pretty heavy. Try to find a very light binding, to keep the weight down with the already whopping 1930g.
