Whatup ns! So one of my big hobbies that I have is ceramics. Mostly throwing on my wheel and a little bit of handbuilding. I know that there are more of you out there so let's start a thread where we can share tips, tricks, pictures, etc.

Ill post some pics later of a few of the pieces I'm working on. Let's see where this thread goes!

Wheel throwing is my zen. Most of the time, it's better than sex, and you can ake some fine pieces with only a few months practice. Don't have any money for it now, though :(

I took a lot of ceramics during High School. Have a bunch of 2 ft tall vases around the house. Also made a bunch of REAL cereal bowls that hold very large quantities of cereal. I had about 15 raku pieces that I made but the kid that loaded the kiln didn't put the supports in the right spot and it ruined about 10 of my pieces and about 50 pieces overall when the top shelf tipped over. (We did a big raku firing in our gas kiln) The next raku we did in a small 2-3 piece kiln and it they turned out good.

I'll have to post some pics earlier of some of the jars I still have. One's a basic looking vase with a green mint crystalline glaze on it that looks so badass.
