Let me tell you, everyone is gonna love the Holiday Inn, I've stood there and at the compound, and believe its much nicer. The whole hotel is the campers, and we're right in the village, also the illest restaurant in Whis is right there, The Mongolie Grill. Also the compound was a little hood, compared to Momentum's accommodations this is way better! Hyped for session 1!
Oh man reallly that's kinda of a bummer. Compound was really starting to get sick. I wonder what they are going to do with all that stuff? New compound in the day lots haha. Gonna be weird going back to hotel COC, which was still super fun, but no where near as awesome as having the private compound
Figured out its because of the new lifts going in on blackcomb they have to use that day lot for construction or whatever. Even without the compound it'll still be super sick and awesome being right in town across with the best location
We moved to the Holiday Inn because the parking lot that we use for The Compound, WB needed for building a chairlift. Without the Compound there wasn't much point in staying up at Staff housing. It's going to be epic staying at the Holiday Inn. No one will be sharing beds that's for sure. The place is dope.
We have extra Paintball lined up for every day, 8 Day Deluxe campers go bungee jumping, we've got Bounce tee'd up for two sessions a day every day at 5 and 7 so you can hit their new part (oops it's supposed to be a secret) that is double the size of the Bounce that exists already. We're also going to be doing a lot more in town stuff for after skiing activities.
Dinner is now included at El Furniture Warehouse that is owned by Sean Pettit, Devun Walsh and other COC coaches past and present. It's awesome. Being back in town is going to be unreal.
We are still doing breakfast at the Rendezvous Lodge like last year which was the best breakfast ever and our epic lunch smorgasbord is the same again but this year when you do pro camp you get lunch as well. Eira just designed a dope COllabo hoody that every camper is going to get. Once we have a photo we'll post it up.
The US, NZ and other Slopestyle Teams are going to be using COC as their training camp for the summer so the amount of pros and coaches that you'll get to get your shred on with should be pretty all time. The AFP has made us the official camp of the AFP as well so you know our on snow is going to be the best ever. Best park all day and then chilling in town and going back to how we used to roll is going to be pretty amazing.
