Massive Hangovers

I've got a crippling hangover as usual and I was wondering what some of you guys do to nurse your hangovers. Weed is by far the most effective thing I've found so far but I'm always looking for other things that work, particularly other things that don't mean I completely write off the whole day and just sit around and smoke weed (although that does have it's advantages). Any suggestions? Oh and if anyone wants to suggest drinking less or not drinking at all that's an angle I'm not particularly interested in.

drink a bottle of water before you pass out, that works pretty well. also, drink a little bit of whatever you drank that night, because what's causing the hangover is the withdrawal from the alcohol.

Don't crack another one, that's the first step towards alcoholism.

Just drink a bunch of water, and then have a shot of espresso later on. You'll be ok.

I think my body just doesn't like alcohol very much, I get the worst hangovers of anyone I know. They last all day and don't ease up over the day at all. So far other than weed and drinking water and the tylenol thing I've gotta agree with the notion that most hangover cures are old wives tales. When will a pharmaceutical company create a hangover cure that works!?!

yeah i had a bad one today. i usually drink water and sit on NS till i feel good enuf to eat some breakfast. if its REALLY bad you can always pull the trigger, you feel like shit for a second but better afterwards

try to drink pedialite(that stuff for little kids) before u go to bed along with a ton of water...remember dehydration(spelling?) is like the main cause of any hang over

i recovered from alchohol poisioning after my rugby party after puking for 2 straight days and getting dangerously dehidrated by eating bread and trying to drink powerade took a while before i could handle it though, lol this years year ender is saturday im a little scared.
note to self avoid blowing motor....again

don't buy chasers they are just expensive multi vitamins. before you go out partying take a couple multi vitamins and drink a few glasses of water through out the night and you;ll wake up right as rain. its all about getting the vitamins and water back in your body

Does anyone else get hangovers that last for days. I've been told I'm just more allergic to alcohol than most people. The last time I got good and druck I was hung over for 5 or 6 days. It blows. I can't drink hard because of the hangover.

for every litre of grog drink half a litre of water, then take a couple of painkillas before u pass out, if that sounds to hard, take a bunch of sleeping pills as soon as u wake up, and ull sleep it off

THIS WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL FOR ME!!! read.

-before you go to bed take some nux vomica (homeopathic remedy that you can buy at your local health food store) and some concentrated B vitamins.

-the next day drinks LOTS of water and take some more b vitamins and more nux vomica. also take 8ounces and water and put some Emergen C in it. This is a special blend of mineral ascorbates that your body loses when you drink. youll feel a TON better after you drink it.

maybe its just me and i dont get hangovers at all, but the night that your drinking when you get home, and while your drinking, make sure to drink shitloads of water, if you drink about 80 oz. of water before you go to bed you wont have a hangover, drinking water when you get the hangover is stupid, drink water or gatorade or something the night before and you wont have a hangover

yeah i drink water too, its weird though, i dont really get hungover unless my heaving drinking is accompanied by smoking herb or butts. try not smoking anything during the night, and see how you feel.

water is the only thing that will 'cure' a hangover. Here is the problem, alcohol inhibits your anti-diuretic hormone that controls your bodies ability to retain water. You piss a lot when you are drunk not because the fluid you take in but rater your body has no ability to retain any water. when you are dehydraded your cerbro-spinal fluid is more viscus so basicly you are drying out your brain and its sticking to you skull, hense the worst headeache ever. Also the massive assult on your stomach by throwing drinks down it all night does not help anything, dont drink sugery drinks thay make things wores. Get an I.V. for instant gratifocation, or drink tons of water. I find it better to get up instead of laying around all day to speed up my metabolism.

I have found that if i drink a lot of water before I go out and drink a lot of drinks with juice or tonic water I can get completely shitfaced and wake up perfect sunshine.

alieve or however its spelled works absolute wonders, i go through like 2-3 bottles a year...take 3-4 of them and you'll be absolute gold in about 20-30 minutes
