hey guys,
Was shredding key last week. Last run of the day I decided to take flat 5 to kang. I just want to know what I was doing wrong. Any help is much appreciated.

Don't watch the whole edit, just skip to the end
+k for helpful answers
Well, you're definitely clearing the knuckle so it's not a problem with the amount of speed you're getting. I'd say to throw it a tad harder next time and once you see your landing after the second flip, keep your eyes locked on it. Other than that, everything looks really sick! Practice
It looks like you just need to extend a bit more on the take off. And you tried to take it to 5 too early. Be a bit more patient. Spot the landing first. It was still mega sick though.
Honestly after watching that edit I do not recommend you to try to double at all. Learn some more tricks before you start hucking, it will help your air awareness greatly.
Lucas, be sure that the edit you have just watched does not show my entire repitoir of tricks I can do. When I was in keystone/Breckenridge, unfortunately I did not have a camera man by my side every second of the trip, I mainly focused on just improving my skiing, not making an edit, fortunately and edit was produced
I have been thinking about this for a while. I might get a chance to do this in a few weeks so I was thinking I might go for it, but I was thinking should I grab Japan? Does this make it necessarily easier?
Im sorry but the only trick in that whole edit you had dialed was that flat 3 japan. Seriously, learn at least 3s and 5s before you start trying doubles, or you will just hurt yourself.
i was surprised to see you try that. you didn't look very comfortable in the air at all on your other jumps, but the kang flip looked like you kinda knew what you were doing. heal up and keep hucking.
