new freeze

maybe people on this sight could come together, make a whole magazine that you keep online that who ever wants to read it would just download all the pages, and print it off on thier (or say the schools printer to be cheep) that way NS dosent have to pay for making the magaizne printing, and we still have something to read when they arn't on the computer

im sure there are plenty of 'lifties' in that thread called post a picture of a hot girl right? and for interviews, there are some big names on this sight, hell even cko has connections so you could still get interviews, and such. it wouldent be exactly like freeze but just to have a bunch of articals and pictures that are high quality and set up to be printed out would be sick

Its gonna be a lot harder than you think to produce such a quality magazine. Do you have the money to find high end photographers, and fly all over the U.S. to your magazines sponsored events and interview skiers? Do you know how to market and how advertising works with magazines? I had a same idea, making a sort of online downloadble .pdf file magazine made every two months. I went as far as to discuss it with O'connell and that kinda stuff...its way complicated and theres no way I could get free high quality pictures of famous riders around the U.S. And thats just ONE of the problems.

i was thinking about all that, maybe we wouldent need 'freezer' quality photos, just fridge quality photos, that anyone could throw on to a part of the site. you're right it's alot of work, thats why mags cost money. but atleast you've thought about it and spent some time realizing that it wont work, that way i don't have to
