Fever dreams

I always forget how wild that shit is. I mean my dreams are generally pretty ridiculous and vivid, but damn. Fever is getting worse, tonight's going to be ridiculous.

Anyone else get that shit when they're sick?

I just had one last night where all of my walls were closing in on me at once, and it seemed the whole world was closing in too. Fucking freaked me out

my husband and I got really sick for two days while down in the Mayan Riviera on 12/20 and 12/21..I know-- cray cray.... we had terrible fevers and crazy dreams and thought that we were posessed by the mayans. But one night I woke up in the middle of the night, sat upright and all of the walls of our hotel room looked like they were liquid/dripping.

Had a dream last night i was playing ping pong and there were these nasty spider like bugs hanging from the ceiling. Then i went upstairs and my friends parents we having sex an he was laying in the bed with them

Had one last night and I thought my bed was just spaghetti. And I was stuck in it.

Most common ones I have are more so hallucinations.
I'm in my room, in my bed. Night and everything.
And the walls or objects are either too close or too far away for my comfort. And everything is amplified, like my blinking or breathing.

I once woke up sweating feet where my pillows were, head where my feet should have been, and I was so confused and had no idea where I was. I woke up freaking out because I was so disoriented, probably the scariest way ive ever woken up.

Fever dreams used to fuck me up super hard. It was like tripping. I had one for yeaaars every time I got sick enough to have a fever, it was just walking around in costco alone, with only a few lights on, and a really slow intensifying water dripping noise. Say what you will about being a bitch, but it would bring me to tears almost every time.

The intensity of fever dreams is the ridiculous part. Especially for me these days with my mind always floating a little bit. My regular dreams are ridiculously vivid. The Fever dreams are so fucking intense.

I woke up sweating like holy fuck what the fuck, what the fuck just happened. Hopefully I get a nice positive one tonight.

fever trips are the worst. Someone should give me one of their recent dreams and I will analyze it for a psych project. It's gotta be in detail though.

Last time I had one I thought that there were black blotches jumping around my room, like the shadow people from ghost. It probably didnt help that the doctor gave me a bottle of codeine cough syrup.

i had a dream 2 nights ago where i had psychic powers and fucked with people on an airplane. then i was in a bus and blew shit up as we drove past when i learned to master my newfound abilities. the next morning was extremely disappointing

Whatttt.. I had a 102 fever last night and had some crazy dreams, thought it was only regular dreams, never really heard of a 'fever dream' until i saw this thread. that explains why i had some crazy dreams.

one was similar to the movie 'holes' where i was stuck digging for hours and hours on end. made no sense

ya i hadnt had a fever in a while so i didn't remeber, but then someone told me to "be careful" cuz i was supposed to have a fever dream, and them I saw this thread! it was really weird

I've never really read anything about them and if there's a correct name but just have noticed the wild shit through experience. Especially now that my brains always a little out there and all my dreams are intense. When I get a fever that shit goes next level ridiculous.

Was really sick for a couple days with a 103 fever. Watched all the star wars in a row. Needless to say I had some wild star wars dreams those following nights.

Super intense last night. Wanted to die. MY throw burning with that gnarly acid reflux deal and my head on fire and totally shot unable to sleep or do anything.

Actually had a dream where I smashed a window and drove a stolen car off a cliff.

Yeah, i get crazy dreams when I have a fever, but it gets the weirdest when I wake up in the middle of the night. I am aware that I am awake, but my mind is still going crazy so I get these weird hallucinations or thoughts. I really hate it.

The night before the rail jam I actually dreamed that I came to the place the rails were in the morning and there was no snow or rails. Couldn't figure out WTF happened. Realized the rain must have did it, but then there was snow around the corner. Turns out the place they told me to set it up was a parking lot on a hill and it got completely plowed to the ground rails and all.

It was weird shit. Very confusing WTF moment when I woke up.

When i had mono i had some pretty bad fever dreams. I went up to 106 degrees and had to go to the ER. But i remember my dreams feeling soo real and trippy. Couldnt tell what was real and what wasnt sometimes.

I got this rabies shot and reacted so bad to it. I was having this terrible dream that I was being chase down these halls and I couldn't run fast enough. Then every one I knew got shot and I was bookin. I later woke so sweaty and unconfortable.

My fever was at 108 and I felt the worst I had ever felt. They must have given me some wired drug because it was fucked and the high if you want to call it that was no bueno. all night I felt like I was going to throw up I didn't. I couldn't sleep one bit and still went to school the next day since my fever plumited in the morning just before school. Up there with one of my worst nights.

Oh yeah. I thought I was Harry Potter one time, and I used to get these weird, disturbing images. Now I just get filled with nameless anxiety and have no idea what it's about.

Oh yes, fever dreams get so fucked up. My state of consciousness changes, or at least the way I experience it, when I have a fever.

Something strange I had happen to me, though, when I wasn't quite dreaming: the other night I woke up at 03:00 and looked next to my bed, and there were cockroaches all over the floor and table. I jumped up & ran to the light switch, then realised about 20 seconds later that I had just imagined them there, it was extremely weird and intense.

Last year, I had two crazy fever dreams.

The first one, I was looking out my bedroom window, into the night lights. I started to float out my window higher and higher. Suddenly it was nothing. I was nothing. I tried to scream, and what do you know, nothing.

I woke up my parents screaming lol.

The next one is funny shit. My parents had guests over, even though I was feverish and sick. Anyways, it's 8:00 and I'm asleep, and my parents and guests are chatting in the living room. MY dream is me hitting a jump in the park, an XL, and I try my first lincoln loop. I start floating like the last dream, and keep flipping, until I'm high in the sky. I start spinning faster and faster. I freak out that everything is nothing again, and I run delirious, in my underwear, half feverish into the living room, screaming gibberish.
The guests were shitting bricks lol
