Smith I/O vs Oakley Airbrakes

I'm Looking to get new goggles and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions.

Uhmmi had i/O's and they were nice fit my helmet well, good field of view. Then picked up some airbrakes, about the same field of view but they didn't fit my helmet as well. They did however fit my face better and I feel like Oakley makes higher quality lenses

never had oakleys but my smith i/os work perfect with the holt helmet and the lenses are super easy to take out

I've had both, and id definatily go with the I/O. I personally think they're a much better goggle. Cheaper lenses and i think they look cooler.

I/O is a little draftier than the Airbrake. Airbrake lens changing is easier. Both have great lens choices.

The Oakley frame construction and foam is much higher quality, with more attention to detail.

Smith has an AMAZING warranty.

I have the Crowbars and I like them alot...oakley makes a great product but I have friends who have I/os and love em(although one friend fell and hit his face with his pole and the lens shattered)...can't go wrong either way

Get the I/Os. They come with two lenses, one for day, one for night.

love my IO fit awesome with my helmet and the clip in the strap is really awesome too. Besides its literally only like 20 extra seconds swapping out the lenses... If you dont have 20 extra seconds then neither are right for you... you need some sort of transitions lens xD

The best idea is to go try them on with your helmet and whatever you wear under it to see which goggle interfaces better with your helmet and fits your face best.

on another note:

That clip that smith uses on the back of their strap may be nice, but if you're wearing your goggles under your helmet and hit your head, your chance of a concussion is increased. Know a ton of people who've had minor falls where they hit their head but complained about headaches in that spot where the clip is.

Thanks for the suggestions. In the end I went with the Oakley Canopy's and they're great goggles.
