Camera Fanny Pack

Hello media and Artsy People!

I am thinking about getting a lumbar (fanny) pack to carry my t2i in while skiing. I think this will be easier to access than my backpack, easier to ride the lift with, and easier to ski with. I was wondering if any of you have ever done this and what you think of the idea. Any and all suggestions/criticisms/advice are very welcome, +K for help

I'm also in the market for a similar bag too. Laugh all you want, but being able to store a second lens/batteries/cards with super quick access during a wedding is huge for me. I had a pouch for a z-evf I could squeeze a lens in, but i'd like something padded and maybe with pockets for cards/batteries

haha, sweet, I will do that. I realize that I will probably look like a grandma but I can live with that, probably going to get a hunting one from the sporting goods store...lots of pockets, padding and insulation, not so good for wedding style though...

the 180 pack I mentioned is nice because you can rotate the camera compartment to your back when you aren't using it, which is somewhat safer than just having the pack on
