Alright newschoolers, so I just started skiing this year. And by that I mean about a week ago. Tonight was my 2nd time going and I'm already doing jumps and landing them pretty clean. I used to snowboard up until this year. What do you guys think of this? Any tips on how to start bigger and better freestyle?

First of all, take some lessons until you can comfortably ski the whole mountain. Stay out of the park until you get good at skiing in general.

learn how to carve and ski moguls good. when you get to the point where you can ski the whole mountain well then go in the park

I guess you should just quit then, if you've mastered the mountain on your first day there is nothing left to learn really.

And the only reason I caught on so fast is because I used to blade and its extremely similar

^yeah i don't really know how blades are, seem kinda dumb...i tried my friend's today though, and could pretty easily 7 off one of those lil things on the side of the bunny hill...so light. get some lessons and get really confident on your skis, then maybe head into the park. also learn park etiquette!
