Anybody shave their shins?

lately my boots have been ripping the hair out of my legs. Anybody know a remedy for this? or is shaving your shins the best way to get rid of this

....not usually I have some type of barrier in between my skin and boots.  You might just have really hairy legs though

Sometimes it happens to me. Sometimes happens when I wear tubies as well. Not sure what causes it sometimes over others.

i wear under armor ankle socks every time i ski and the air gets ripped out of my shins. definatly a noticable line on my shins at the end of the season, but i would never turn gay for skiing

I wouldn't suggest wearing anything other then high ski socks, anything that doesn't come above your boots will probably catch on your shin hair and rip it out

My full tilts removed every last hair from my lower shin years ago. They shine now and can even be used as mirrors

I always wear ski socks (smartwool light) and still notice some hairs being pulled out and have also considered this, but never followed through with it.

I have bald spots on my shins from my boots ripping the hair out (I wear ski socks). It looks kinda funny but its fine because its winter time and I don't wear shorts. I would only bother shaving my legs if it was really irritating. My dad used to shave his way back in the day when he raced

I have a similar problem, I have dalbello 3-piece boots (like full tilts) and most of the time if I just pull the tongue up it helps

My buddy shaves his for this same reason. We make fun of him but he's a hell of a lot more comfortable. Be careful though, if you do it. What if it's like a gateway drug leads to more extreme body shaving?
