Liberty LTE

I just bought a pair of LTE's from halftilt off here on ns. Have yet to ski them, because they haven't arrived, but I'm stoked to try them! As for powder, try skiing on those, and then demo something more like 115 underfoot to truly appreciate how awesome powder skis are in powder. The LTE's are definitely not meant for powder, and the tips will probably dive on you, but if you backseat super hard it might work! Haha no but seriously try powder skis. Your life will be so much easier. Also what kind of powder skiing are you doing? It might be good to consider if you be hucking huge drops and bombing steep lines, or if you're jibbing and boosting through the trees. Nimble vs straight line performance is a big deal. With that I could probably help suggest what you'd wanna ski.

Spark notes: if you don't have to, don't use them for powder

I'm gonna be at jay peak for the vast majority of the season for powder skiing but I might be heading out to whistler for the march break but I mostly ski park/groomers around ontario so the LTE was my first choice for that reason

Yeah LTE's are definitely good park skis. But if you plan on skiing powder at all try demoing some powder skis. You'll definitely be skiing either park or powder. Kinda like trying to use a bmx bike for downhill mountain biking. You can do it, I suppose, but it'd be worth it to try a fatter ski

People skied powder for decades with skies skinnier than the skinniest skis today. You will be fine skiing on them.

He'll be fine but it doesn't mean that it won't be as fun. I skied powder forever on some public enemies, but when I got pontoons I had a blast. People also skied non shaped skis forever and got along fine but we don't still use them. It's just better is all I'm trying to say
