I want to give vibes for the 2 people who died today and all the other wounded victims at my local mall from a violent shooting. 60 rounds were shot from an automatic weapon in the food court area. It makes me sick thinking that families going out shopping for Christmas and seeing Santa for the day to turn into chaos because of someones actions.
Are we born evil? Or are we influenced to do evil?
There was a thread not too long ago about how babies are born inherently good. They did a study showing one stuffed animal beating up another stuffed animal, and almost every time the baby chose the non-violent stuffed animal. They would even look at both of em for a second then reach out to the nice one.

Yeah I watched that video also, what I found interesting though is that they preferred that bad things happen to the ones that didn't like the same things as them. It looked more like they chose the thing that would help them the most, for example the one that was helpful to the other would be more likely to take care of them as well. In contrast the one that was unlike them and would be more likely to cause conflict was the one that they wanted to be harmed. I just think it comes back to survival instincts instead of good vs evil, they just prefer the event that would benefit them the most overall.
There is good and evil inside everyone. It's a battle within the individual. At the same time the environment in which you live, especially during the developing years of childhood, plays a large factor in bringing out more of one or the other.
In the end though, it's really on you, the individual. For the most part, for most people, there is the ability to change for the better. If you don't want to make the effort, or don't care enough, that's on you.
Tired of people making excuses all the time. I understand where people coming from, I try to see things from other peoples perspectives, at the same time that doesn't mean I condone it. I think as an adult that's your responsibility as a person.
You can be a totally fucked up person, You could be a good person, there's plenty of roads to go down, but at the end of the day if you choose to be a douche, that's on you.
