Best material for rail?

So I'm suck in North Dakota, and what they say about it being flat is true for the most part. So I was think that about my only option of skiing is to travel a min of 2hrs for a hill with 300ft of vertical or just go urban. Any thoughts or suggestions?

hence the name 'rail': originates from the word, hand rail; usually a long piece of metal pipe, used to help the elderly down a flight of stairs...or for skiers and snoboarders to bust fat tricks on

who says he doesnt know how to ski? any way i would go to the hill if you arent good at skiing but if you are go with the urban. if you live on a farm(always possibly in ND) you can plow snow into a pile and make an inrun and jump and use a snowmobile to get speed.

Stept, I know how to ski that's not the problem, the problem is my location. See, I've been doing this newschool shit when it actually was 'new.' the problem started when i chose to go to ND to fly planes, and i stopped skiing for 2yrs. I can still ski, not a problem. Also I know why it's called a rail, i haven't done much urban is all, so i was wondering how the different matterial was to ride on. I'm not a fucking moron people just had a question
