Line mastermind center mount?

I got my skis center mounted a few weeks back. Then I learned they aren't symmetrical. Will this make a difference? 2013 model by the way

Not that I know of. It doesn't affect the mounting positions.

They're like 1mm from being symmetrical. You're fine, centre mounting them is perfect

Its not the end of the world.

However, Im a big believer in using the Factory mounting positions if they suggest one. I.e recently I mounted some Arw's -1 at a customers request (even though they only suggest -5 or -2.5). Did it anyway, customer hated it and I ended up re-mounting where I suggested originally -2.5.

i'll never understand why they market skis as being for park and urban when it's designed to be mounted at -5.

ive centered mounted all my skis, s4, troublemakers, stepups, old school candides (dynastar) and loved them. Centered swing weight etc.. THey just suck in the woods with snow.

Its to do with the geometry of the ski. Even skis like the AR7 arent't aimed at being rode 50% switch 50% forward as they are still directional and expected to spend a lot of their time being rode forward. Thus, mounting further forward than the reccomendations compromises the integrity of the ski. That said, if you are gonna truly ride said ski 50-50 then mount the sucker centre.

i understand that and if it's mounted back just a small amount i'm fine with it. i just think it's kinda silly since swing weight is a huge part of how a ski performs in park. even if you land everything forward, you don't want your tips to be weighing you down in the air and throw your balance off.

True,I guess thats why u get true twins that are very park specific and skis like the chronic which is aimed at AM blastin. CM skis suck in some circumstances, AM in others.

Armada Halos are prime examples, pure park designed with swing weight in mind via the EST rocker and tip shape. Yet, mount forward of -2.5 and u screw up the amount of effective edge you have

You will be fine dude, i centre mounted my line masterminds when i had them a few season ago and you could not notice anything, you will love those skis they are super playful and great for rails
