Boyd in X?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere, why doesn't boyd have a segment in X, did he get hurt last year or something? I'm glad he at least had the funny ass roller skating seg but I'm wondering why he didn't have a full seg, he's dope.

^yeah man that was such a letdown, I watched his goofy rollerskating bit and I was so stoked for his segment and then it never came! I wondered if my ps2 had skipped the track at first too but no such luck.
