Powder Days...who has had some so far?

Great one today at Kirkwood. 2 feet of fresh deep stuff.

Opening day friday was pretty good too the ungroomed runs were deep enough chopped powder/crud, so over 2 days pre thanksgiving and maybe 25 runs mostly in the trees I didn't hit a single rock/branch. Impressive stuff and I will give some props to Vail resorts as it seems my favorite mountain is on the way up under their ownership. (The 08 recession hit maybe 2-3 years before Kirkwood could follow through on putting in the necessary new lifts to hang with the big boys.) Lets get that Martin Point lift in now Vail...

Anyone else on here been busy getting their powder legs back this weekend? Heard squaw 30 miles north only got rain. And Heavenly looks pretty miserable from down here in Stateline/South Lake.

Anywhere else in North America enjoying some primo conditions right now?

last season i probably skied pow 50 out of 70 days skiing. ya it was a good year. idk about this season tho

I another good blue sky powder day today. Unfortunately no more lifts were open but I found a good line where I could hit 3 different 15-20ft cliffs in the same run. It was epic hucking off them non stop did that about 8 times.

Did a couple runs under a closed chair as well.

Thanks to everyone on the mountain today for leaving these to me and not skiing them.

Anyone else have a good day out there today?

seeing that you icon is a colorado flag where do you ski. i ski Key, Abay, And Breck and i only had one real powder day and 2 leftover crusty days

1 really good day in October, then yesterday and today were both epic! Throw in another 10 days of jibbing and glacier skiing, and that's my season so far. :D

south tyrol was good last week (Sulden for example)
but only for 1 or 2 days before the sun pretty much baked everything up to 3000m

I had a SICK one today. Every run was epic. Just amazing being able to rip the best and steepest lines before anyone else, you forget how much gnarly Kirkwood has when it dumps.

Thought it was gonna be like 6 inches and it was over a foot. Was still dumping when I left too.

Pumped for tomorrow. And I'd ski the same lifts again and be happy but tomorrow the backside will be open so it'll be even danker.
