I've seen some pretty crazy work from members in here- so I think this thread could be interesting. There's nothing better than finishing a project and zooming out to see everything you've worked on right in front of you.

This is a great idea! I'm also always curious about what others' workspaces/window layouts look like - kind of gives more of a scale and scope of a project (i.e. I currently have around 8 different timelines and various folders open in a single project).

Most of the cuts are too small to be seen with the sequence zoomed out, but here is what I'm working with at about 70% completion.

From a music video I just finished for school. First real project I cut on Avid MC6. Still not sure if I love it or hate it yet. The built in color correction is way better than any other NLE, but the titling tool is garbage, and round-trip to AE is a pain in the dick. Also, the workflow in it with my GH2 is painful.

Im working on a really special wedding video for a client, they met on the bus so we sort of reinacted it as an intro to the whole film.

Im recording two more audio effects to insert and then Im sending this mother brother to export and handing it to them. CANT WAIT! This has been a lot of work but im happy with the result.

cool thread idea. ill go ahead and break up the little Premiere party goin on in here.

this is my current project that im working on, still have a ways to go but this is pre-color and the shot on the right after some effects added. its an artists perspective type video:

noob question here: why do you guys have soo many seperate tracks going? i generally have no more then 3 video and 3 audio!

I generally work in video track 1 as my primary, but tend to put in different options as I edit and stack the clips vertically into new tracks. As a result, all of my options for a certain cut are right there if anything needs to be changed later, rather than needing to track down a shot again. A nice little trick I use is choosing which tracks to show and hide (in the timeline). If I know a clip will be used, but don't have a specific place for it yet, I will toss it above in an invisible track to be used later.

Manually aligned a grid of 25 frames playing simultaneously for the closing shot of a project I'm finishing up. It took a lot more coordination than I originally anticipated and strained my computer quite a bit, but it turned out pretty well.
