GoPro Hero 3?

getting a hero 3 soon...
should i pay the most and get the black? is it worth it? or should i just get the silver with the remote?

I'd go for the black, i don't see why anybody would geld the silver, as you can probably get the hero2 for a lot less and i don't think the differences between silver and hero2 are worth the price difference. The black on the other hand looks sick.

The black has A LOT of features the sliver doesn't have. It's all really way to tech for me but there is a big difference.

if you are getting the silver edition ($299) with a remote ($80) you are now only $20 shy of getting the black edition. so go with the black edition for sure.

thanks for the advice guys! i was leaning towards the black anyways. what accessories should i order for it which would be good for filming on the slopes?

Silver shoots max 10 frames/ second bursts, the black shoots 30 each second long burst. The fact that when you get down to it, they cost pretty much the same but the black is sooo much better and is exclusive to specialty retailer (except best buy, who pay for pretty much all of gopro's ads) is AWESOME! Big thanks to go pro for keeping it real
