yea it only stores pictures you have already taken, like say you go on a trip, you just upload them on to your ipod so you can take more, or something

I'd personally get skis for that money but if ya wanna waste that on a stupid overrated iPod. My archos jukebox is so much better (has a line in, out, digital in and out, mic, live mp3 ripping, and it only cost me 230 NEW! and you can exchange batteries, unlike on the iPod)

photo ipods aren't that great, they don't connect to regular ipod accesories and they are not as tough as regular ipods, i'm gonna get a 20mb

haha people were doing movies on it, but it was still super whack. They just took each frame out and loaded it in. And when you put it in a slide show and spin the wheel fast it turns into a movie! A very crappy movie. The apple guy, steve jobs or something said people didn't want to watch videos because it takes full attention. What a weiner head, i want to watch videos.

its a specialty thing, I'm sure there are some people, like photographers, that will find it very useful. It is still really cool. And all Ipods can store videos/songs/pictures/programs whatever, you just can only play songs on the ipod.

My archos that I've had for about a year and a half played movies, pictures, music and had a voice recorder but I found movies and pictures useless. Watching movies and pictures gives you about 2-3 hours of battery life. Unless you are a photographer, nobody wants to see your pictures. Trust me.

im just going to start to carry my compter around with me. soon my home PC is going to be cheaper than that ipod. and my computer can do 1000's more things.
