I’m an avid Freerider and as such have focused my college design and manufacture project on making myself some touring bindings. As part of the market research I need a few opinions on current bindings on the market. Your feedback would be great!
What level of Freeride/ offpiste skiier would you describe yourself as?
How often do you engage in touring activities whereby you require skins, and bindings with touring functionality?
a) All of the time (everyday skiing is spent climbing uphill for descents)
b) Frequently (most of the time, but a day or two is spent in the park)
c) Occasionally (I enjoy a good balance of piste, park and climbing where the lifts wont take me)
What bindings do you currently use?
What price would you be prepared to pay for a pair of touring bindings (bindings with walking functionality)?
a) less than £100
If you owned a pair of bindings with a fixed heel only would you be prepared to purchase touring adaptors as opposed to fully functional touring bindings? If so at which of the price ranges listed above?
Finally, what do you look for when deciding which touring bindings to purchase?
Thanks for your time!
