K2 Enemies are yours as shit as mine?

On the third day os using my enemies, they completely delaminated on the tip of one ski. The top-sheet peeled away from the edge and base. I only skied them hard for two days as well! I heard they were pressed with the wrong glue, and on the newer models they have corrected it. Mine were the 2001 model.

Enemys seem to do that. One of my friends started to delamanate after 1 day too.

maximum it really is worth buying the enemy, cause every summer you can trade them in for the next years model, it is way worth it, well you can trade them in if they delam that is

all K2 skis delam, they are #1 on my hated ski company list. Plus the tail on the enemy is really little, I don't even count it as a twin.

not really, if you hold it up to the 1080's tip it is the same height almost, it is just a little more gradual. The ski is stiff for big mountain and pipe, and it handles very fast speeds, alot faster than any of the lines, and it is fatter than most of your twins also.

The hight of the twin tip doesent matter as much as the stiffness of it. Like pocket rockets, they got alot of twin, but its really soft and sometimes it can catch when ur trying to land in alittle pow.

still k2 rules! enemies are the best twins ever. i had a little closer look at the 1080s tail and noticed that they are in the same degree as enemys tail but they are a bit longer.
once i tested the 1080s and they were really heavy and they sucked at high speeds. too stiff and things like that. i still love my k2 enemies, heh ;)

Well, even though trading in for next years model every year would be nice... I don't like the idea of -knowing- that they will delam, and relying on that.

i've got the black enemies and that's what we're talking 'bout. i don't care hows it going with my skis topsheet, just the bottom matters ;)

You should care about your topsheet to some extent. Although not as important as the base, the ski will weaken and gain alot more flex when it delams alot.

well, i can't do a shit for the topsheets and that's it.

almost every ski delamanates. who gives a shit. its not a big deal. i have enimeis. the delamanated. i dont care. they still ride fine. they ride awesome. sure its a small twin. but i have no problem. its good is a small twin. you can ride switch wicked easy on it, plus it has good traction. enemy kicks ass all mountani and in the park. if your a 50 all mountain 50 park enemy is what you get. if your all park get yourselves some lines.

the enemmies are wide enough for backcountry rides and they are much much wider than the 1080s.
but there is a good thing, too:
people won't steal your skis if they look horrible ;)

The tail doesn't have to raise much at all, look at a tip that doesn't raise much at all, like the salomon freeride skis. Now start angling the ski w/ the ground and see how far backwards you would need to be angled for that tip to actually dig in. I have a pair of salomon verse 7's and I've never dug the tip landing switch, and about 25% of my jumps I do some sort of 5. No problems taking off switch with them either. Well I've gotten off topic but err... noone's enemies from this year at my hill delaminated. But it sounds like there was a bit of a prob.

the enemys are almost the same width as the 1080s so there not that much better for backcountry.

My concepts did not delam, but I had stress cracks in the tips of mine before they were warrantyed, so does my friend. My other friend delamed his ememys in 4 days. I have broken 3 pairs of k2's, never buy them.
