Taking a vacation in March. 4-5 days in Park City, 5-6 days in Canyon Heights. Looking for suggestions on places to stay in Park City. Is PC a fun town, over a weekend? Is there a decent village up near the Canyons? where would be best to stay on off days? I think we've got the back half of the vacation in Canyon Heights, between Little and Big. Thoughts on the PC part?
PC is always a good time. I'm assuming when you say Canyon Heights you mean Cottonwood Heights.
There isn't a ton to do down there compared to PC in my opinion, but the shredding is infinitely better if it snows.
Yeah, meant cottonwood heights. I realize there's less to do there, but we'll be getting a house so we should be ok. Any thoughts in areas of PC? Slopeside would be great but may not be affordable. Is PC a town or a resort village? Is it like Whistler (all condos/shops/related to ski area) or is it an actual town/City?
It's an actual town/city, but pretty small. Look for places in old town or anywhere near main street. Those are close to PC, but cheaper than slopeside.
the town of Park City is pretty small though, assuming you're staying in town. you'll never be more than a few minutes from everything. pm me if you have questions.
