IPhone 5 vs iPhone 4s

I have a blackberry and I've been waiting for the 5 to come out to upgrade this piece of shit. But I haven't heard of anything significantly better from the 4s to the 5. I know its taller, thinner, lighter and has a bigger display, the camera is a little better. Other than that the only major difference in my eyes is the processor and charging ports.

Now heres my question.. Is it worth it to use my upgrade and spend $200 for the 16gb iPhone 5 or get the iPhone 4s 16gb for free?

Anyone who has upgraded from the 4s to the 5 I'd like your opinion but I want to here what you all think. I'm in college so I don't have money to throw around but I have enough to buy it if I budget my money correctly.

It's basically the same thing with a shittier map. Do yourself a favor and stay one generation behind Apple's overpriced products. I got an iPhone 4 when the 4s came out and I still don't see any reason to upgrade.

So aside from not understanding my thread and being a sarcastic ass I was asking if it's worth it to buy the new one for $200 or take the 4s for free because the processor and different charging port might not be worth $200.. The size and camera is no real difference to me it's going to fit in my pocket and still take good pictures.

FYI the iphone 4 is free, the 4s is 100, and the iphone 5 is 200.

i have the 4s. there's not a huge difference accept size of screen. i used to have a blackberry so the step up to the iphone from that phone was huge regardless. if i were you i would just get the 5

i love the bigger screen on the 5, but if you are looking to save money i would go with the 4s, it still works about the same, and its an iPhone

pretty much. if you have a good phone now, there's 0 point in buying a 5. but if you're in the market, the better long term choice is obviously the 5. like you said, it's better in every way and a hundred buck is pocket change in the long run for that.

I got the 5, I like it. You're using up your upgrade for the next 3 years, why not get the best phone you can?
And if $200 is that big of a deal you probably shouldn't have a smartphone considering your probly paying $50/month

I just upgraded from a BB curve to a 4. It's a world of difference to go from a dying blackberry to an iphone that likes to work when you want it to. I don't think the 5 is that special. If you're a first time iphone owner, just go for the free one.

Well to be honest I usually hate earbuds, the old apple ones are the only ones I tolerated. These fit okay and the sound is so much better than any I've ever tried that I'm happy with them

Another scheme apple came up with for people dumb and naive enough to camp out in front of stores for. Why can they be normal and not release a new fucking phone every year that really isn't much of an improvement. Their transition from the 3's to the 4 was big but since then its been mediocre.

ive got a jailbroken 4s and ive gotta say, it does the job. that said, for an extra $100 bucks (on a contract, of course) you can get the 5...get the 5. an A whatever processor and lte will make up for the difference in the long run, imo. fyi, i have no intention of upgrading

#2 the 4 to the 5 is a mega difference. same with the 3 to the 3gs. theres more to difference than the look of a phone

At&t has LTE but its pretty small still. LTE is the newest, fastest 4g network. Sprint/tmobine/at&t claim this "4g" network they have, but its still no where close to be as fast as 4gLTE. Sprint/tmobile 4g is a completely different thing, the iphone 4/4s/3g/3gs works with these carriers so I assume it works with the 5.
