Writing a poem about Mtn Dew

Blow my brains out Marketing is the most useless subject and if i didnt have to take it for a core requirement of my econ degree i wouldnt. (held out until senior year!)

That said i have been tasked with writing a poem about Mountain Dew (at least i got a good company) haha anyways, you guys want to help me spit some fantastic poetry? It should be noted that this is my first attempt at writing poetry.

Oh Mountain Dew how I crave a Big Gulp full of you.

Your corn syrupee goodness is nothing new, yet the category of awesome is reserved only for you.

Your teeth rotting properties are second to none.

The ingredients that come together to make up your taste are strange, that much is true.

Yet when given the choice of 1 or 2, my horizons are brightened by more of you.

what would i do?
without my mountain dew?
Everyday i seem closer to dehydration
Then i feel the blast of baja cool my nerves,
 jolt of energy delivered in each sip
when my dew reaches my lip!

A Mountain Dew?
I don't see why not
Because every once in a while
it sure hits the spot

Have another?
I guess, yes please
As I sit back comfortably
and pound it with ease

More and more dews
Maybe five in a sitting?
Who cares?
I'm young and living

Wake up in the morning
sweaty with with a chill
as I grab another can
to get my fill

More and more
Addicted? I don't know, maybe?
I don't feel well at all
And I've been drinking a ton lately

Diabetes ensues
Needles and pumps
a daily routine
Like taking dumps

"I'm dying slowly"
Is what I mumble and grieve
As I slam more Dew
And struggling to breathe

This has taken over my life
But my feelings are strange
For if I had the chance
My habits I would not change

I love Mountain Dew
I will to the end
Water, sugar, and syrup
Now that's any man's best friend

I stop at the mcdonalds I used to work at, manager i worked with sees me in the drive thru we hate each other she asks how did I obtain the car I ask for a hamburger, she gives me a hamburger I raise it to my lips and take a bite. My eye twitches involuntarily. Across the street a father of three falls down the stairs I swallow and look down at the hamburger in my hands. She gives me a hamburger I swallow and look down at the hamburger in my hands. I cannot swallow. There are children at the top of the stairs a pickle shifts uneasily under the bun. She gives me a hamburger I look at her face, and she is pleading with me. The children are crying now I raise the hamburger to my lips, tears stream down my face as I take a bite she gives me a hamburger. I am on my knees.
I plead with her to go across the street. She hears only children's laughter she gives me a hamburger I am screaming as I fall down the stairs. She is my child. I cannot see anything I take a bite of the hamburger the concrete rushes up to meet me I awake with a start in my own bed. My eye twitches involuntarily she gives me a hamburger as I kill her, I do not make a sound she gives me a hamburger...
