hendriab , or Anders Hendricks, has sent me a jacket with a broken zipper that was not described in the thread where i bought it.
I paid with paypal, and am disputing it as we speak, I'm making this thread to make the rest of you aware of his shady dealings and to be careful when dealing with him. If nothing else, to make you careful of buying stuff on here and to take the proper precautions when buying or selling.
I received the jacket today and i live in cincinnati ohio where we are no where near ski season, there is no way of me breaking the zipper or causing any damage to it, it's an XL and i would never just wear it around, I couldnt have broken it and i havent had it for 24 hours. hendriab is trying to put the blame on USPS but will not call them and did not buy insurance on the jacket. here is our conversation:

usps told me you have to file the claim and if you didnt buy insurance on it, then there is nothing you can do. You are held responsible and paypal will refund me. the zipper is messed up and would not have been a result of any shipping problems. the teeth are messed up and can not be aligned.

Not saying you tampered with the photo but you did take a picture of the jacket to make it appear that the zipper worked. I'm just filing a claim with Paypal, USPS did not break your zipper. I'm sorry you can't deal with this like an adult.

I have no idea what your talking about. Its zipped up in both pictures. You honestly think I somehow tampered with the photo to make it "appear" zipped, when in reality half the zipper was broken? Take some pictures, talk to USPS to get a claim, file a claim with Paypal, do what you have to do, but I sent it in stated condition. talk to Greenish, its who I bought from. Sorry this went south, but Im not at fault

yeah i can make the jacket appear zipped in a photo too, but the zipper is missing an essential part to being zipped. the other half of the zipper dude...its missing and you know that.

it's your responsibility to insure the package anyways. the product getting to me the way you described is your responsibility. hands down. and im not trying to "strong arm" you, i just want to be compensated for getting a jacket that you did not describe properly.

haha it didnt happen in the shipping, zippers dont just fall off, plus you have no pictures of it zipped up, who did you get it from, ill talk to them as well. guess ill have to file a paypal dispute and youll get none of the money and bad newschoolers feedback.

i dont know what you to tell you, sounds to me like damage that occured from shipping. it worked fine when I had it, and was fine when the original owner head it. Talk to USPS

ive had this thing for 3 days bro, didnt wash it, tried it on and decided no. i have no clue. its that weird softshell material, so i would try to dry clean it so you dont wash the water proofing off. regardless, the stains are there but not ugly, and the body of the coat is prime.

Picture of the zipper broken, the teeth on the jacket are not grabbing each other and the zipper can not function. Also included is a screen shot of the original thread where it does not say anything about a broken zipper.
Thanks for your time guys, i really wish this could have been handled like adults and everything would have been kosher. I just don't appreciate getting a broken jacket in the mail. Good luck when buying and selling on here guys.
