Best place for backcountry in colorado?
just moved here from ohio and to be honest and not to be cocky i am pretty good at park and shit but where is the best place in or around colorado for pow
wolfcreek, silverton, steamboat, crested butte, beaver creek, vail
Hahaha, but yeah op, you should be a little more specific
berthoud pass, east vail, and a buncha shit around abasin.
around colorado you say. Probably alta or snowbird
eh loveland pass is pretty much resort skiing considering the amount of use it gets. i forgot to mention red mountain pass is phenomenal.
i was refering to the pass not the area
It's not like berthoud doesn't get its fair share of traffic either
Vail pass is enormous with tons of sick zones. I've only snowmobiled to get to our spots tho so it might suck for skinning. Otherwise I believe the Silverton area is pretty much unbeatable.
Spots west of the front range
Crested butte is filled with BC in every direction. Scope my fb page in my sig, a few BC edits all within 5-10 miles from crested butte.
Really some of the best backcountry skiing in colorado, period
All times are Eastern (-4)
