I know this is the wrong thread but with people always getting scammed on here this is the right place.
ALot of people on here are legit but others arent so when u pay someone tell them to make an ebay account and do it that way cuz there for if they dont ship the item then legal action can be made and u will get ur money back

You could go the ebay route, but Ebay has extra fees. Just use common sense, also read the stickies in the B/S/T forum.

But the safest way I have found is, get a name and phone number and make a call. Then send a self addressed stamped envelop to them and make them put their name or something unique in it and send it back (this way you know the address they give is right or at least connected to them in some way) and dont send it to a PO box. A scammer will not take the risk of having all of their information divulged.
