Anyone down for IF34 Annecy?

I didnt want to thread the jack the other thread, but basicly i'm gonna be going to IF3 Annecy again this year so its time to make plans. So the idea is, the more people, the less $$ it costs and the bigger we can do it. Get stoked guys.

Dates are 28-30 september and i'm going from Geneva so if anyone is passing by the airport maybe we can figure smt out. Only rule is that you have to be at the very least 17 (but better to be 18+ cos otherwise you might need fake ID and it could make problems for us). Drinking/clubbing/smoking age is 18.

So guys get stoked and hmu so we can find hotels, figure out transportation, etc.

Yep, I'm pretty intent on this now. I'm just trying to figure out my flight back to the US.

Looks like I'll be flying out of madrid or Brussels or amsterdam. Wish I could ask if anyone was driving those directions, but I don't think there would be room for me and my suitcase :/

I plan to buy my train ticket/airfare by tomorrow.

If anyone wants to look for a place to stay with me, let me know. I shall forewarn you, I am 27... I look 18, but I'm 27. I'm still down to party though.

Well, I just obtained an internship in Annecy yesterday, I started looking for places today, I don't have an address yet, but I'll have one by IF3 since I start the internship on sept, 3rd! My point is, I don't know if I will have a couch or just an air mattress, but it's all yours if you're interested! And I'm 24!

i really want to go but still have to figure out some other things before i can make the final decision ....

however if i go i'll be driving from belgium and there should be enough room in my car for an extra traveler :)

This would be awesome!

But I have a huge ass suitcase. International traveler status that weighs in at about 23kg. Soooooo you'd need to fit me and the suitcase and my backpack and probably another bag of some sort.

So if there are 2 of you, probably and I can absolutely pitch in. If there are 3 of you, I don't think I'll fit.

for reference, im going on a 14day hiking trip in switserland with my gf and another couple and we can fit all luggage easily and still have enough room ...

Just checked the airfare again, the cheap flights sold out from Brussels. :(

But.

just BOOKED Paris to Iceland to Denver to Los Angeles to Mammoth for $650 TOTAL! With a night in Iceland, 2 nights in CO, and 2 nights in LA.

Fucking stoked.

But it's official, I depart from france. So Annecy is absolutely happening for me.

To the fellow above (forgot your name) if not enough NS'ers are down to get a luxury establishment for the weekend, I am so absolutely down as long as you don't mind drunken extravaganzas and mindless ski talk. :)

Still have to look into transportation though, if i can fill a car, i think that's going to be the cheapest option .... (i ride from Belgium/Brussels to Annecy and back)

Does anyone know when the schedule will be available?  Or are the schedules typically the same each year?

I've not been before so i'm wondering if I arrive friday evening, would I be missing much Friday daytime..?

you might miss something but i think the friday schedule might be shorter what with it being opening night and all. personnaly i wont be able to be there before friday night so idk what i'm gonna be missing yet, hopefully nothing.

I emailed IF3 and apparently there might be two movie screenings on the Friday during the day time, then a party on the Friday night..

Might try and get there thursday night instead

i wrecked my car on monday and besides that i now lack transportation i am also in need of money for a new one so i think i'll need to sit this one out :/
