Center Mounting Scratches
Does anyone have scratches, and how did you mount them? would center mounting them be a good idea?
Hey Alpacaa, Matt, Rossi TM here.
Most of the team (Parker White, Chris Logan, Xavier Bertoni to name a few) mount all of our S-Series skis are either dead center, as you ask, or at 1 cm behind center for just a little more tip pressure while skiing switch. at 1 cm behind dead center most of the crew feel skis ski the best, dead even swing weight and a little more tip to balance on.
ok thanks a lot. i'm 5'8" 130 do you think i should get them in 174 or 167, I'm ordering them tonight.
ive got both scimitars and scratchs mounted dead center. Do it you won't regret it. promise :)
if you mount them back you will get some more all mountain( crud and pow) ability, but if you do groomers and park, mounting them at center will make skis way more funner and you wont sacrafice carving
mine are mounted center, have s4s but they are the same thing, think that they can carve groomers as well as any other mounted back ski
Center. Such fun skis, and you could even go 181. They are really light and easy to ski.
