No you didn't it was just a bad really-high high. Think of it this way.. what drug that comes in a powder form, or can easily be turned into powder, is out there that makes you depressed purposely? And why the fuck would anyone waste their drugs by lacing a sack they were gonna sell.
Your weed wasn't laced. You are 12.

And since everyone is sharing their personal weed stories.. I just moved back into my house after getting kicked out for repeatedly getting caught by my parents with bud/being stoned. They think it's the devil. And I lost trust with them, my girlfriend, and all my friends after saying I was gonna quit probably 5 different times and never going longer than a month. Has been 6 weeks since I smoked and yesterday I got really fucking stoned. I still love it. Used to smoke like every weekend from 13 to 15, then started smoking during school on occasion, then pretty much all of sophomore and junior year of HS passed by in a haze of pot smoke every day. My entire friend group, some of their parents, a lot of parents of kids I know, and my brother all love marijuana, I live in arguably the best state for marijuana (WA, pretty close to CA) and have access to medical marijuana buds/oils/wax/edibles/budder whenever I want. It's quite difficult to remove it from my life as I am around it 24/7, but have since learned to say no not right now and only do it on special occasions now. It's weird coming out of like a stoner coma of being high every minute of every day... I have to say I like it better and will only smoke on occasion now.

Is there anyone out there that doesnt smoke because they dont like it? I smoked a lot from about summer freshman year of high school into beginning of junior year and then I just started hating it. I would never smoke before school or anything, but I would a lot on the weekends and such. After a while I just got tired of it. It just became boring and made me feel stupid as hell. Ive smoked a few times since I stopped and still dont really like it.

Wow so much hate on such a nice specimen of a plant....

I smoke frequently enough but not so it gets in the way of life. I also get tons of exercise, eat very healthy and keep a clear mind so whats the big deal?. I understand that its not for everybody but some of you guys are just hating too hard on it. For those of you who live and let live....party on however it is you like to party:)

I could see that happen and sometimes wonder if my friends experience the same when they are smoking over half an ounce a week. I have slowed down and usually smoke two days a week because of classes but those two days I go all out. My friends force dabs on me until the walls start breathing and my head feels like its floating off my body. I ran into my professor on of those days Fred Meyers and he knew what was good. I am positive he was deep into drugs back in the day.

uh its a 16 inch clear beaker with a five-stem and a 4 arm ashcatcher. i usually dont use the ac though, not necessary.

Well thats whats interesting. There really is no culture around it. It's a pretty normal thing that normal people do, like drinking coffee. Sure, there are some people who act like retards when there high and act like the stereotypical hippy, but dont put everyone who smokes weed into that category.

I know a lot of people in the same situation who turned out fine. I think it comes down to if you let it control your life or not. I don't think marijuana is going to determine your life unless you let it. Maybe the people you know just have little self control?

my good friends who smoke are the liveliest people i know haha they're always down to go longboard, chill and play music, or just drive around and do stupid stuff. they're obviously just boring people. branch out.

i find the view people on this site have on weed hilarious, there's the crowd that claims it, kinda like its some hardcore claim, then there's the crowd who think they have some moral high ground on smokers coz they do'nt smoke and call all the smokers 12 year old, its quite amusing considering its just fucking weed, especially seeing as it has a fairly significant place in the skiing culture

or there's the people who enjoy it occasionally, see it as something that has a stigma it honestly doesn't deserve but should still have regulations, and respect others views on it. personally i don't know anyone who thinks they're better than the next guy because they smoke.
however, there are plenty of people with the 'holier than thou' mentality towards smokers but will then go out, get completely shitfaced, be a mess and think nothing of it. it's a double standard

Meh, I'm the opposite but to each his own.  I like drinking beer because I love IPAs and Stouts and such, but when I get drunk I feel like absolute dogshit the next day and that's VERY bad for me and my job OR my recreational activities.  I'd rather get lit out of my tits than drunk.  Also I had 9 kids I went to high school with die in drunk driving accidents before they even graduated- and lots more after that too.  So sad to see so many totally awesome people dead for a buzz, y'know?  Really makes you stop and think- or at least it did for me anyways.     

Drinking just seems like such a huge risk to me.  Obviously when consumed responsibly it's no big deal but I would prefer to kick back with a blunt or nice G-pen and relax away rather than get smashed drunk and do something I'll regret later.

this is my dad. he used to smoke pot when he was my age, now he just drinks, like a bottle of wine every night. he constantly rips on me for smoking weed and calls me names and shit, but it's like, look at yourself, you're drunk 27 nights a month. i used to drink like he does too, probably got the addiction from him, but i eventually realized my drinking was causing me to be a dick to my friends and that it was pretty unhealthy. stopped drinking alone altogether over a year ago, and i think i've recently finally got over my addiction to the stuff. i smoke weed regularly, almost daily but i take breaks for days or weeks sometimes to reduce my tolerance. it makes me feel pretty content and helps me enjoy life a little (when i'm sober, like right now, i'm irritable and generally pissed off at everything). i have never once hurt myself or anyone else while baked and if i had i would probably quit it too. i actually find weed makes me more productive, because i don't like to waste my high sitting around doing nothing like i do when i'm sober, but there's times to be high and times to be sober (i couldn't work my last job while high, tried it once, was way too difficult). i don't smoke around people who don't like me smoking, but in my opinion, they're missing out on the best version of me, so that's their loss.

I don't know about that. When I get too stoned I think that the real world is fake and all made up in my mind to cover what reality actually is and my reality is being stoned out of my dome peeling away the venire of space, time, what we know as reality and question it, looking into why we are here alive thinking beings. It gets weird when I get too high and makes my mind think a lot then my brain feels over heated and abused.
