overall i would say andreas or lj. andreas has tons of tech stuff that no one else does and slays urban, but lj slays urban on a different level and has pretty tech stuff
Bobby is a lot better than you guaranteed and probably most of NS, He can still hold it down on rails dude, you guys try to put pros down in all these "favorite/best pro threads", try to keep it positive the jokes are not even funny.
Sorry to be upset but this is really annoying and it's not just you that does it.
True, probably better than half of the orange names even, that guy slays, i don't know why people hate on him, he is always super stoked and happy and is a really nice guy in person. Haters gonna hate I guess.
It's because he's not afraid to push the sport and the majority of the NS 12 year olds jumped on the triple flip-hating band wagon. Like I said in another thread, people need to stop criticizing other peoples' skiing from the safety of their computer, and instead actually go ski.
I know you hate me, Zander, and this isn't going to help, but there were maybe three rail tricks in volume 2 that I thought were decent. It's all smooth, I'll certainly give him that, but aside from the pretzel on the quad kink there's nothing a solid park skier couldn't do on the same feature.
I've not really paid attention to skiing this year aside from watching the Dew tour, my bum shoulder and bad weather kept me off the hill, but when did Andreas Hateveit get good at rails? Not hating, but seriously I want to know..
Meh, I don't really hate you, you seem to hate me though. Also those were just the two main examples I could think of at the time, here is another decent rail edit of him, hate it or love it :D
At 2:25 his edit starts
In my opinion he is a decent rail skier, Very smooth, not that tech and he doesn't hit much urban bet he isn't exactly bad enough to make fun of.
Also no hard feeling if you thought I really hated you.
haha it was troll, but i remember when i used to think he was the best skier at everything and all the tricks in his slumdog illionaire tricks where x-games tricks winning tricks
Best as in what? Tech/difficulty, or style? I was gonna put tech and difficulty as two separate categories, but when you think about it, tech stuff is hard as fuck, so they're the same thing. Style is obviously subjective to the viewer, so I'll just give you my opinion:
Tech/difficulty: Tom for obvious reasons
LJ is fucking nuts
Sammy C is also fucking nuts
Ahmet is probably crazier than LJ in my opinion
Cam specifically, but the whole Stept crew, they just hit stuff that is just so huge, and him and the Stept crew do more big urban drops than other skiers
and I've heard Sigstad is insane, but I haven't seen much footie of him.
Will Wesson is also very under rated in my opinion, but I know a lot of people know of him from the TC and his Level 1 appearences
Style: Tom, just so goddamn smooth
Bdog, just has that funky style that I love most of the time
Matt Walker and Nick Martini could prolly go on the list above, but I'm just gonna leave them down here
Stept crew
And then there's creativity, which would prolly go to the Skifi group. Writing this post has actually irritated me because it's made me realize how hard it is to judge somebody as the best. Overall, I'd just have to say Tom is because he makes it look soooo easy, and he's the only skier in the world doing what he does as consistently as he does. In conclusion, I know not everyone is going to agree with my opinions, but I love watching most skiers, a lot of whom are not on this list.
See, this is what I'm talking about. There are literally SO many amazing rail skiers. And because there is so much variety on rails, it's hard to pinpoint who is the "best." So yeah, add Andreas to my list, and Dale.
