Weeeeeeeeee! just put in an order for 191 Caylors. Stoke level is at an all time high for mid July.


Can anybody shed some light on whether we receive a confirmation email once the skis have shipped?

Shweet thanks. Decided to go for last year's though. I liked the graphic much better so I couldn't justify buying the new one's, as someone said in the thread earlier that there was very little change in the actual design of the skis.

this is probably a stupid question but do you just post a comment saying you want to but some or is there a page you can actually look at the skis and purchase them from there? on the website all I see when i click on the presale is page for my email and a place to post a comment

We're getting some sick shirts in soon, just got a cut and sew option with a fit and quality we're really happy with. Once we have samples and sizing info confirmed, email will be sent to all preorders. We're splitting up the packages of shirts and skis for preorders models that are shipping (eg, 181 Filthy Rich), we'll send you the skis now so you can fondle them until the snow starts falling.

I am just absolutely in love with my new Filthy Rich's. I just keep staring at them and fondling them. VERY nice touch with the fleur-de-lys too (didn't notice them before). I cannot wait to get these mounted up!

I'd go with the recommended mounting position then. There will be a little notch on the sidewall, that's where you want to mount them.

Would you recommend the same if it was more like 50% park and 50% all mountain/pow. I ride park every run, but it is only on the top quarter of the mountain so I still have almost a full run to hit trees/powder and what not on the way to the lift.

Depends on what you find most fun. The J-mo is designed to be ridden all over the mountain, the Filthy is more at home in terrain parks. With a 50/50 split like you propose, I'd choose Jeronimo, maybe even a Jeffrey, but I'm not spinning 12's or anything where swing weight from a wider ski becomes important.

I mount all my skis at 1.5cm behind center, park, pow, etc. If I had a pair of Wrenegades or race skis I would re-consider, but I like my skis right there. I've skied JMOs at center, and at -4 (old Jmos), and they ski park fine at -4, and the mountain great at center. It's really a matter of personal preference, and beyond that, the difference of 3cm is almost splitting hairs.

That was really unhelpful, but I'm sure you'll get it right!

damn this is a hard decision, grabs some jeronimos, or try out praxis's new piste jibs. Can anyone here by chance compare the flex of the jmos to something like a bibby pro? Im tired of park skis that suck at skiing, so im lookin to find something thats pretty chargy for a park ski.

Hey guys, just a quick update -

Just like clockwork, some of the suppliers are running low on materials - materials are generally allocated for people that order loads and loads more than we do. You'll all have you skis when the snow starts falling though, as the first production run is back on track and we've got everything we need now.

Because of the crazyness of the beginning of production season, and everything else we have going on (planning for premiers, sampling clothing, etc...) I think the factory updates have been overlooked. However, we'll be better about it.

First 186 Viciks going out tomorrow morning. We're about to start a small run of 181 Jeffreys, after that is 191 Wrens and 171 Filthy's, Jeronimo's and Jeffreys. We've been so busy that I've been unable to sit down and write up the photo tour of the new place, as soon as I get a break from production I'll post it up for everyone. New shop is just sick, so happy with our new place and new space.
