Could the glidecam xr-1000 work for these cameras
the nikon d5000 and the nikon d7000 with 18-55mm lense and a 100-300mm lense on it
Flycams are built very poorly, buy the 2000 pro if you can.
lol 100-300 on a glide cam?
Hahaha yeah seriously, good luck with that one...
OP: Glidecams (and handheld steadicams in general) are easiest to use with shorter focal lengths. I generally shoot between 18 and 35mm, sometimes pushing it to 50 on a 1.6 crop sensor.
That's the lense I know that glide cams are mor expensive than that
theyre saying the 100-300 lens will be too large and/or heavy for a glidecam to balance and function properly
it's just more that glidecams aren't magic. you can get some decent shots at like 100 (zac's done some great glidecam tele work), but i don't see anybody being able to get shots past like 120, and even then that's gonna be extremely difficult. all those little glidecam movements that aren't noticeable at wide focal lengths will become SO apparent with a tele lens.
i thought he ment price for a second i confused myslef
