You might remember me from the "NS: The Biggest Hypocrisy Of The Internet Thread". I am back to show some of the members on here and some people who are not members what's good. I don't want this to turn into another shitstorm or bandwagon hate thread, but it might possibly, so buckle your seatbelts, kiddos!
The Wu-Tang Clan/B&E is what I'll use to start this. None of said members have heard about them until Henrik and Phil made them popular through their web series you all know so well. Don't even lie, you didn't know them. This bothers me, guys. First off, for all those members/people who ride Phil and Henrik so hard, you do realize there is music outside of Wu-Tang and Redman, right? I can name 5 O.G.s off the top of my head who are not affiliated with Wu. Big L (He's awesome, give him a listen), Rakim (Not only is he great, he was also in a Casabon video! Now you have to like him!), Big Pun, Andre 3000, Scarface, etc. These are classics people! If you really knew Hip Hop as well as you thought you did, you would recognize these names at first glance. Second of all, you people are going against everything Phil and Henrik stand for! They want everyone to focus on style which means finding something unique to you and doing it. If you guys keep dressing like them, talking like them, and copying their styles, then what's the point of what they're doing? Iberg even said "It seems like the industry just waits for people like Henrik and Phil to copy them." in Ante's movie.
So in conclusion, the industry needs you to stop copying people. We're all a bunch of robots on the hill if we don't find something unique. That is all. Call this a PSA, Speech, I don't care. I just needed to get the word out.
